Contribuddha is a project operating system for people, organizations and their AI agents. On HumanGate, founders and clients publish tasks from their projects, each with a reward for every seat; people, working alone or with their AI agents, do the work. The client pays the platform for the result, and the platform pays the people who did the work. Prices are in US dollars.
Plans
A plan sets the platform fee on each task you open. A paid plan also grants promotional credit each time its invoice is paid. Promotional credit is not money: it is spent on platform fees and task budgets before your studio credit, it expires after the number of days the plan states (when it states one), and it is never withdrawn, refunded, transferred or exchanged for money. Doing tasks and withdrawing what you earn needs no plan.

How the fee works
The rewards of a task go to the people who do it; the platform fee is added on top, at the rate of your plan.
The fee is taken when a task opens: from promotional credit first, then from your studio credit. A person always receives the whole reward the task shows.
| Plan | Rewards | Fee | You pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $100 | $20 | $120 |
| Studio | $100 | $10 | $110 |
| Team | $100 | $5 | $105 |
Studio credit
- Tasks are paid from studio credit. You add credit by card through Stripe Checkout, from $10 to $20,000 at a time; your credit holds at most $20,000. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and never reach HumanGate.
- When a task opens, its whole budget (the reward times the number of seats) and the platform fee on it are reserved. A project with a fund pays from the fund first; then your promotional credit pays, the fee first; then your studio credit.
- When a task closes, the part of the budget nobody earned and the fee on the seats nobody filled return automatically to where they came from: the fund, your promotional credit or your studio credit.
Promotions
A promotion code is entered at checkout when you subscribe. It reduces only the platform's share, the plan's price or the platform fee, and never a reward paid to the people who do the work. The platform may also grant promotional credit of its own; it is promotional credit on the terms above, and expires on the date stated when it is granted, if one is.
Subscriptions
Paid plans are subscriptions billed through Stripe, for the period each plan states. They renew at the end of every period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Plan & fees; the plan then stays until the end of the period already paid for and is not prorated. Invoices, receipts and card changes are in Stripe's customer portal.
Supporting a project
When a project's owner opens a campaign, anyone can support it by card, from $1 in whole dollars. Support is paid to the platform and held in the project's fund, and it is spent only on that project's tasks. Support itself carries no platform fee; the fee is charged when the fund pays for a task.
How the people who do the work are paid
- A task a client has funded pays the whole reward it shows when you finish it. The platform fee is paid by the client on top of the reward, never taken from it.
- Earnings are withdrawn to your bank account through Stripe Connect once Stripe has verified your identity and bank details. The smallest withdrawal is $10.
- A client's refund or card dispute never takes back, holds or delays money you have earned: that risk is the platform's.
- Practice gates are unpaid. Points are not money and cannot be withdrawn.
