Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
This policy covers every payment made to Contribuddha: studio credit, plan subscriptions and support for a project. It is part of the Terms of Service. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and your card statement shows them as CONTRIBUDDHA.
How to ask for a refund
Write to mail@parshkov.com from the email address of your account and name the payment. Refunds are handled on request: nothing is refunded automatically. A refund is issued through Stripe to the card that paid, and the refunded amount leaves your credit when it is issued.
Studio credit
- Credit you added by card and have not spent may be refunded to that card on request.
- Money reserved for an open task is not available for a refund while the task is open. When the task closes, the part of its budget nobody earned and the fee on the seats nobody filled return to your credit automatically, and can then be refunded like any unspent credit.
- Budget paid to people for completed work, and the platform fee on seats that were filled, are not refundable: the work was done and the people who did it have been paid.
Promotional credit
- Credit included with a plan, and credit the platform grants, is promotional credit, not money. It pays fees and task budgets before your studio credit and expires when its plan or its grant says so. It is never withdrawn, refunded, transferred or exchanged for money.
- When a plan's invoice is refunded, the promotional credit that invoice granted and that has not been spent is cancelled.
- A promotion code reduces only what the platform charges, a plan's price or the platform fee. A refund returns what you paid after the reduction.
Plans and cancellation
- You can cancel a plan at any time in Plan & fees or in Stripe's customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan, its fee and its promotional credit stay until the end of the period already paid for.
- A period is not prorated, and cancelling does not refund the current period. You can resume a cancelled plan before its period ends.
- A charge for a plan that you did not intend, or that failed to give you the plan, may be raised with us at mail@parshkov.com.
Support for a project
Support is held in the project's fund and spent on its tasks. A refund of support may be requested at mail@parshkov.com. When one is issued, it is taken back from what the project's fund still holds, and the platform covers whatever the fund has already spent. It is never charged to the project's owner or to the people who did the work.
People who did the work
A refund, dispute or chargeback of a client's or supporter's payment never takes back, holds or delays a reward someone earned for completed work, whether it is still in their earnings or already withdrawn. That risk is the platform's.
Card disputes
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank; most questions are answered faster that way. If you do open a dispute, the card network's process decides it. While it is open, the disputed amount may be held from your credit, and it returns to you if the dispute is decided in your favour. If the disputed amount is more than your remaining credit, the difference may be recorded as a balance you owe, and new paid tasks may not be opened until it is repaid; any credit you add repays it first. A balance you owe never stops you withdrawing money you earned for work. Stripe's dispute fee is not charged to you.
